Tim Powditch has been appointed as a portfolio manager at Glennon Capital and will focus on small and mid-cap ASX listed stocks, joining existing Chief Investment Officer, Michael Glennon.
Glennon Capital offers specialist small company investment management to families and individuals, with an emphasis on co-investing with clients.
Michael Glennon, CIO of Glennon Capital, says: “Tim’s wealth of experience and industry knowledge make him a key addition to the team. Tim is a skilled stock picker and previous portfolio manager with a history of identifying stocks trading below their intrinsic value and a welcome addition to the team.”
Tim has over 30 years of investment experience including 10 years in portfolio management at BNP Paribas, Citigroup and Partner at both Shaw Stockbroking and most recently Bligh Capital, specialising in Small Cap Equities.
“He brings a research approach consistent with Glennon Capital and breadth of experience that will complement the research capabilities of the investment team,” says Glennon. Glennon Capital runs investment teams across; Australian listed mid-caps, small-caps and micro-caps.
“I truly believe that there is significant value for investors by investing where there is least quality research being conducted by the market. I am excited to be joining the Glennon team, and keen to focus on my core skill, identifying small and mid-cap stocks that the market has miss-valued,” Mr. Powditch says of his appointment.
Glennon says: “I started out on an ambitious growth journey for Glennon Capital over 8 years ago, and whilst pleased to date, with Tim coming on board can exploit some new and exciting opportunities.”
Tim’s appointment is effective from the 4th of October, 2017.
